Kam Cheong Ling (1911-1991): Macao's accomplished predecessor watercolor painter is also a well-deserved representative of Macao's art scene in the second half of the 20th century. He loved art since childhood and formed a relationship with the pioneer of Chinese watercolor painting——Mr. Xu Yu Qing. After the completion of the course, he never have a break, his watercolor painting have a different style and the good drawing skills.
After the arrival of Hong Kong, he taught a lot of students who have enjoyed illustrious careers at the Macao Academy of Fine Arts. His works have completed in personal exhibitions co-organized by the Hong Kong and Macao Arts Association. He also held a solo exhibition in Lisbon, Portugal. In 2014, the Macao Post launched the "Macao Seen by Kam Cheong Ling" philatelic products, and his works have recently appeared in the joint exhibition organized by the Macao Museum of Art.
